A good starting place we have been looking for and this seems to be it. Suprisingly, I never heard od Missouri Wind and Solar until I found it on ebay of all places. We have been seeking a resonable strting point using our tax return fundings and this appears to fit the budget. Better yet we can do it ourselves.

Great website. I am looking to add a wind turbine to my solar system at my home on the Mexican Coast near Rocky Point (Puerto Penasco) about 4.5 hours south of Phoenix. I miss the Ozarks and went to college at Drury in Springfield. Thanks for the great information and I will be in touch.

I've been looking at wind turbines for a while to augment my solar system in the dead of winter. I came across this interesting, very detailed web site and am wondering if there are any Missouri wind turbine setups in Oregon, especially along the coast that I could look at. I like the fact that it's made in the US also that it's quiet as I do have neighbors. It looks like Jeff knows what he's talking about and has a video for all the pertinent questions. HI do your grid tied inverters start to feed the grid at 10.8 volt or 14 volt. PS: grate website I am hoping to order a three blade hub and blades off you this summer.

I have been researching alternative energy quite a bit lately. I found your site very helpful and just the information I was looking for. We have a few companies here in Alaska that specialize in rural off the grid stuff. I am looking for something to help offset the cost of heating oil. I spent $2000 last year in heating oil for my hydronic in floor heat. I will be purchasing a wind turbine and solar panel set up to initially heat my water. Thanks for the informative site that speaks to the do it yourselfer.
